I've spent the last week or so reading Snarry, and one of the stories I read was [info]auctasinistra's The Kiss. Now that story is so sweet, and although I now this scene isn't exactely as described in the story, it was still what inspired me to it. So.. enjoy :o)

    Oh! It's awesome! I LOVE the room, and Harry's hands around Snape. And Snape's look of trepidation. This is great!

      SQUEE! I'm so glad you liked it! And just so you know it, I have more pics for your stories in the pipeline. Anything in particular you would like to see as a pic? That might be the spark, because at the moment I'm not sure where to begin, there are so many lovely scenes...

      And hmm.. Why in the world is that picture so small? Photobucket must have been downsizing it :( I'll upload a better version in a blink, it's so much prettier in full size *grumbles over Photobucket*

        Oh, I could probably list a half dozen scenes that I like visually, but that's no fun! I like the surprise of seeing what you'll pick. :-)

    Oh, goodness, that's perfect. The items on the desk in the foreground take the eye, but not enough to distract from Snape's perfect face.
    This seems a different version of Snape from your earlier one - his face is narrower, and tbh I think it's better, more the image of Snape I have in my mind's eye.
    The way he's staring, aghast and disbelieving, at Harry. *happy shiver*
    Lovely work.

      I'm constantly tweakling my Snape character, so you're right, this one isn't quite like the one I've used before. Close, but not quite. And yes, he has a narrower face, which also fits my "mental Snape" - I picture him rather gaunt and er.. what's the word.. chiseled (which, incidentally is a look I prefer IRL, too) - and of course very far from any sort of conventional beauty (though he *is* beautiful in my mind of course).

      I'm glad I managed to make him look aghast, that was exactely the look I was aiming for. Shocked, disbelieving, aghast. *pets poor confuzzled Sevvie*

    Glad to hear I'm not the only one reading Snarry this week. It's been kinda crazy what with the Snarry Holidays and Merry Smutmas and Harry Holidays and Santas Lap, and just, WHOA, SO MUCH SNARRY! I'm not even half way done with the reading. But anyway, this artwork is wonderful! As always, I am in awe of your details. :)

      Good thing there's no such thing as "Too MUCH Snarry" then!

      And oh yes, the Smutmas and stuff.. There must be a lot of stories there just waiting for me to read them. Perfect for the christmas holidays! (except of course that I'm working all christmas.. oh well... I can print them and read them in the train then... I doubt there's a lot of people travelling on christmas night...)

      Oh and thanks for the kind words :o) They're cherished!

      And.. please allow me to drool excessively and then faint into a puddle of goo @ the icon.... GUH!

        Gosh, I've been busy myself with Christmas myself too, especially the holiday shopping.

        Yay! You like the icon! :D I made quite a few icons using images from the 5th movie. I have yet to post all of them. I have to find the time. ;)

      Thanks for the heads up! I didn't see anything of mine at the link, and I didn't give permission for any of it to be archived there. OTOH I know that Yahoo group and I usually like it *GG* so it's ok with me I suppose.. as long as my name isn't removed from the pictures and someone else pretends to be tyhe maker, I'm generally cool with it being displayed anywhere :o)


      But seriously, thanks for the notice!
