New Tea Series render...

Previous Entry Add to Memories Tell a Friend Next Entry
So, this is made by request from [info]somniesperus and of course I'm so thrilled that she likes my renders for her beautiful story!

So Telanu: Here's the one you asked for :o) From Fire By Fire.

Poser, Carrara and Photoshop.
  • This is beautiful, as always. Thanks for sharing with us. [info]somniesperus is a brilliant author, but your renders are worthy of her lovely story.
    • Thanks! I love the Tea Series (who doesn't?!) and frankly I can' uderstand why I've never made any pictures for it until recently. But now that I've started... who knows when I'll stop again?
  • beautiful
  • That's lovely!
    • :o) Thanks! First time I tried rendering in Carrara so I wasn't quite sure what I was doing. But it came out quite well :o))
  • Trekkie, that's really lovely. Thank you for sharing it with us!
    • Aww thanks! I'm so glad you liked it! It's such a delightful story, don't you think?
  • Another lovely illustration!

I don't think I mentioned that we've included some of your other Tea Series in the [info]snarry_reader here.

I'll be adding this one as well.

If you'd like us to link to another site, please let me know. :-)
    • Wow, I wasn't aware that you'd added these :o) Thanks!

And linking to them like this is perfectly fine :o) You're also welcome to link to my Snarry gallery if you like, there are several of the pictures there that are illustrations for stories. And none of those pics are locked, unlike when they're on LiveJournal.
  • Wow, that's just beautiful!
  • Beautiful :)
  • Strong picture, TG
The contrast between the dark shapes in the corner and the bright field is very good.
I like to know where this is rendered in, because the reflections of the red cloaks look rather UN-Poser to me.
    • Good spotted, Kam. It's rendered in Carrara 6. I'm very much in love with Carrara's lights, but at the same time they're totally incomprehensible to me. I spent all last night setting up an indoor scene - and failed (and eventually Carrara crashed to desktop, nasty habit it has btw)
  • Bye-bye, terrible ladies... Beautiful render, Trekkie. Love Harry's T-shirt, hee ;).

BTW, speaking of wonderful fanfics, have you read Cambiare Podentes (Invocare and Madurare) by Jordan Grant?
  • Oh, YAY! What a beautiful illustration of this scene! I love how Snape and Harry's faces are in shadow.
  • Wonderful, as always! I particularly loved the tender and warm feeling from Snape to Harry. (Or maybe that was just something I imagined from reading the story...)
  • beautiful!!!!
I didn't know the story, but your renders made me want to read it....

    Thank you!!!!
