Snarry Dolls! Finally!

Er.. uhm. So.. Harry got his eyes today!

And they're green! A very lovely, glittery green. They're also very dark, so it's a little hard to see. But they're there, they're green and I love them to bits *L*

Soooo I had to take some pictures of Harry, now that he's officially "finished" - and.. well, since the whole idea of getting a Harry in the first place was to get Snape some..er.. company.. Well...

Oh and don't worry. IMO the pictures are totally worksafe. But someone with better knowledge of the new draconian rules of LJ.. please tell me if they would be forbidden to post "over there" - because I frankly can't make heads or tails of their rules, and I'm just not going to risk a total deletion of my LJ. As much as I dislike places with such "we'll tell you what to think" mentality... I still have a lot of nice comments and such I'd hate to lose.

But anyway, I hope I can safely post them here, so...

  • Wow, great colour.

As for posting at ElJay... I'd not do it. They have explicitly forbidden under 18 in any sexual situation, whether it is drawn, photoshopped or a real photo - including fictional characters.

For the person who'd like to see this in the wrong context... I'd say you' d have a risk to be banned for the above.
    • Thanks :) The third picture is slightly enhance in Photoshop, for the eyes. They're glass eyes and WHEN they catch the light right, they're wonderfully vivid and glittery GREEN. But in certain light conditions they just look black. I actually like that effect even if they didn't quite look as I expected them to. The glittery effect is lovely even if it's hard to capture on a photo :)

And yeah. Based on what you told me I thought this might be against the precious ElJay rules. *shakes head*
  • don't risk lj, lovely, as always
  • The eyes are perfect! Beautiful dolls and such beautiful art you've made with them. But as work safe as they are, I would not post them to ElJay since some idiot might take offense and cause trouble. Even though he's clearly a DOLL, to those of narrow mind and little or no brain, he might appear underage and therefore in need of protection from "those evil slash-loving perverts". :eyeroll: Because *obviously* all things anime are pR0n andeven the most innocent Snarry pix made with Japanese "boy" dollies is kiddypR0nz and if you do that or even say you like that, then you must be in favor of doing it to real, live non-fictional children and ... BLAH!BLAH!BLAH!

No, you're much safer here. Seems us Insane folks are the only ones who can tell the difference between the real world and a fictional one.

    Oh well, sanity's over-rated anyway. ;-)

    • Right. That's about what I thought. But admittedly, I haven't been keeping up with all the new changes on LJ.. that place is getting worse than Rosity, these days O.o

Oh well.. As much as I'd like to show these to my LJ friends, I guess this is a case of "their loss" for not being HERE instead!
  • lovely photos...

I am glad to have found you over here, too.

Your workmanship and attention to detail is astounding...

    :)
    • Re: lovely photos...

EEH! You're here, too! Great! I friended you, just for the faint possibility that I would later f-lock something.
      • Re: lovely photos...

        :D

        Yep.

        I'm here, too...
I began this journal "just in cases" that "over there" became unbearable with the new owners and rules.
        :P

I have friended you back -
On the chance that I ever begin to blog, over here!
        :D
        • Re: lovely photos...

Well.. I admit I'm torn. My BESTEST friend has moved here exclusively, so... I post here for her to see. At the same time, I get thrice the comments on LJ whenever I post identical pictures here and there, and I freely admit I'm a comment whore. Sooo... Whenever I can, I crosspost.

But in cases like this where I can't, I'm delighted to see more and more of my LJ friends who has actually moved here, more or less permanently. There are so many things I like about IJ, Squeaky is the major part of it :) What a great guy! The way he caters for his users is second to none. I just hope this won't ever be as popular as LJ - because I don't want Squeaky to get "an offer he can't resist" and sell it off to someone like SixApart... :o/
