Harry Potter breaking curfew... again [Doll pics]

Just because.. Snape isn't my only doll so here's a little bit of Harry pics...

Today I got the glasses I'd ordered for my Harry. And I was out shopping for fabric so I could sew him a robe and a (somewhat) proper Gryffindork tie.

So yes, I've been busy. And of course I had to take some pics of the finished result. Thing is, it had started to get dark so ... well even with a very light sensitive lens I still had to cheat and use the flash. So I photoshopped them a bit to take away the glare and such...













All that is missing now is his green eyes, and they're on their way from Mimiwoo... so.. soon Harry will be properly Harry Potter :)

    His proper glasses really helped a lot! And heh when they arrived I thought "OHNOEZ" because they were TINY. Far far smaller than I thought would ever fit a doll. But obviously, they fit just fine :)

      Glasses always look smaller than you think they should. Or at least I think so.

        I've found it amazingly hard to buy things for these dolls without actually having them with me. Several things where I've thought "oh this would JUST fit" turns out to be hopelessly out of scale, while ohter that I'd discarded at first glance would probably fit >_<

    :) Thanks! I wasn't really sure how to make a tie with the right stripes, I hadn't had any luck finding fabric in these colours. But then I finally figured I'd just glue some small yellow satin ribbons onto a reddish wider ribbon.. and there you are... a Gryffindor tie LOL Totally cheating but it works ok on pictures ;)

  Oh he's gorgeous! I think the second pic's my favorite -- and the 3rd because of the way you made it look more like a drawing than a photo. So expressive! How can Snape possibly resist him?

  He's looking good with the glasses. His hair still look like a dead cat, but... Lovely robe and tie. I'm sure green eyes will help a lot too.

    I can't quite decide if I like furwigs or not. They can look really awesome - and really daft... Depending on how they're combed (or not...)
    
    I wish those eyes would hurry up and get here! They're shipped and all.. so.. WHY aren't they here yet?! *whines*
    
    BTW I don't think I ever thanked you properly for last week! It was awesome! We must do that again, soon! (yay my holiday is getting nearer and nearer)
